valentin-garcia

Web oficial de Una sombra entre dos mundos, novela de Valentín García Peinado. Astro, built with Bun, deployed to Vercel.

bun install
bun run dev # http://localhost:4321
bun run build # static output in dist/

Content

Every fact about the author and the book lives in src/data/site.ts: a one-line bio, synopsis, book sheet, store links, contact, press coverage. Anything still marked TODO is a placeholder; empty book-sheet rows are hidden until filled.

  • Press coverage: add entries to press (newest first) and they show up on /prensa and the home page.
  • Images: src/assets/ feeds the pages (Astro optimises them); public/prensa/ holds the full-size downloads for journalists. The cover is the publisher's 720px version.
  • public/og.png is the social share image (1200×630).

Pages

Path
/ The whole site on one page: book and buy button, synopsis, author, press
/prensa/dossier Press dossier as a page (printable)

The old /el-libro, /autor and /prensa addresses redirect to the matching section of the home page (see vercel.json).

Deploy

.forgejo/workflows/deploy.yml builds and deploys to Vercel production on every push to main. One-time setup:

  1. Create a Vercel project for this repo (or run vercel link locally); the IDs end up in .vercel/project.json.
  2. Create a token at vercel.com/account/tokens.
  3. Add three secrets to the Forgejo repo: VERCEL_TOKEN, VERCEL_ORG_ID, VERCEL_PROJECT_ID.
  4. In Vercel, add the domain valentingarciapeinado.es and point its DNS as Vercel indicates.

The domain is also set as site in astro.config.mjs and in public/robots.txt; change both if it changes.
